With our social engagement, we focus on the areas of the environment, knowledge, and participation.
Social commitment is a fixed component of Eco Edge Copper’s company identity. We strive to be a responsible, reliable partner for our employees, suppliers, customers, and neighbors at our sites. We have set the target of contributing to a livable environment for future generations. In the process, we focus on areas of action that are linked with Eco Edge Copper’s key expertise.
Our social engagement is often linked to donations or sponsoring projects. Projects and partners are selected based on established criteria.
For many years, we have been involved at schools, in vocational training and education, in the promotion of sports and culture, and at events in the neighborhoods surrounding the company’s sites. We have placed these varied activities under one slogan, “together we care,” which brings together all of Eco Edge Copper’s projects. These projects have three focuses: knowledge, environment, and participation. With #togetherwecare, we make a key contribution to the company strategy.
We act sustainably and are socially engaged
Our activities influence society. We therefore take responsibility and help shape our surroundings. We do this locally, nationally, internationally, and together with our employees; to us, social engagement is an investment in the future and thus a fixed element of our Sustainability Strategy.
We take responsibility for the environment
We are a raw material company with over 15 years of tradition and a future. The resource-efficient use of raw materials and energy is crucial for us. We act according to this principle and want to encourage others to do the same because we’re convinced that we’re part of the solution.
Knowledge is our most important resource
It is our employees and their knowledge that shape and develop Eco Edge Copper. The main condition for this: staying curious, including curiosity about what’s happening in society. We support the thirst for knowledge.
Success is only possible in a team
We want to tackle and shape things together and pass on this conviction. We take our responsibility for the world around us seriously and want to enable people beyond our plant boundaries to participate in society. In our view, this involves integration and inclusion.
